The celestial Swan constellation is prominent as it flies across the night sky during the summer and autumn months in the Northern hemisphere.

In Greek mythology, Cygnus represents the Swan. The myth is that Zeus turned himself into a swan to pursue Queen Leda. The 16th largest constellation in the night sky contains many interesting objects for astronomers to study, such as galaxies and nebula.
