West Wittering Beach 1964

I studied Art & Design and History of Art at Worthing Art college in late 70's/early 80's. I worked as a hand bench silk screen printer, a sign writer, a ‘graphic designer’ and Illustrator. Being single, I needed to make a living, so started contracting as a draftsperson working in Engineering drafting/CAD and that lasted for about 34 years!. I lived and worked in Sussex, London, South Manchester/Chester and Aberdeen. During that time, I kept producing art, one way or another!. Times have changed. Now I am fortunate to dedicate my time to art and painting - here in Norfolk with my husband and cat.

I was very lucky to have a talented and creative Father who loved art and all things in nature. As a child he encouraged my curiosity of the natural world through drawing, making and imagination.

My Paintings are inspired by Nature, earth, constellations, sky, creatures, stories, myths and legends. Life and places experienced are natural influences, but perhaps more importantly, dreams, memory and the mystery of spirit & imagination.

All my paintings are one-offs, painted in oil and/or acrylic paint and mixed media - painted on canvas and sometimes wood, finished to a high standard for display.

If you wish to buy a painting, additional detailed photos of each painting are readily available upon request. Framing can be provided at a small extra cost.

I'm happy to take commissions. If you are interested in an original painting of your own, you are welcome to give me your idea of any details, such as the design, size and colours you're interested in. I can then give you an idea of price and a time frame.

You are welcome to get in touch via the Contact page.
